This 1972 split-entry home had been in the same family, with eight children having been raised here. I love these stories! I was fortunate to meet all of them at the closing. Many of the original finishes were in place and I sought to bring back that mid-century feel with a 16′ addition to provide space for today’s needs.
Midcentury modern means lots of windows and clean lines, organic neutrals and finishes. It was fun to bring this house back to life with a great open kitchen, dining and living room, a huge functional mudroom, and a beautiful master suite. It now has 3100 sf, five bedrooms and is ready for the next generation to enjoy.
